Biography

Md. Aftab Uddin Alif is a dedicated and innovative Computer Science and Engineering professional with a strong academic background and diverse experience in both academia and the tech industry. Holding a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangladesh Army International University of Science and Technology (BAIUST), where he graduated as 1st Class 1st with a CGPA of 3.92, he is currently pursuing his Master’s in Information and Communication Technology at Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP). Aftab is currently serving as a Lecturer at CCN University of Science and Technology, where he brings a passion for teaching and a focus on Outcome-Based Education (OBE). He has taught a wide range of subjects including Microprocessor, Database Management Systems, and Algorithm Design. His industry experience includes working as an Assistant Engineer at IDS Tech Solution, where he contributed to impactful projects such as “ePolli Shohoz Khamari” – a financial management app for farmers – and developing a crowd funding application. Earlier, during his internship at SquirrelM Soft, he honed his skills in Flutter and Firebase by building an online exam app. Aftab has demonstrated a strong commitment to both academic research and development. He co-authored a journal article titled “AI empowered diagnosis of Pemphigus: A Machine Learning approach for automated Skin lesion detection,” published in Informatyka, Automatyka, Pomiary w Gospodarce i Ochronie Środowiska. In addition to his teaching and development work, Aftab has actively contributed to student development initiatives as a computer instructor and mentor in science fairs, achieving notable accolades. He also participated in several professional workshops on pedagogy and research methodology. With proficiency in a broad tech stack including Flutter, Laravel, Firebase, and multiple programming languages such as Dart, Python, and PHP, Aftab blends technical expertise with a keen interest in education and innovation. His involvement in various academic clubs and leadership roles reflects his collaborative spirit and commitment to community building.
