Large buildings and constructions, building engineering, infrastructure management such as bridges and roads, and municipal water and wastewater systems are all covered by this broad scientific and technical area. Classic engineering sciences such as mathematics, natural sciences, and economics are studied in these domains. The curriculum includes computer and communication skills training in addition to technical disciplines. Although the majority of graduates work in the fields of planning, design, or management, they may also work in construction engineering, structural engineering, transportation, or urban planning, or establish their own practice.
