To help students build knowledge of the content and methods of literary studies through the use of varied theoretical lenses, improve the quality of language in communication and academic writing with an understanding that language is the basis of communication and culture, develop skills of research and analysis, which will enable the students to flourish in professional spheres on both national and international levels, and build up "soft skills" that include creativity, complex problem solving, relationship building, communication, emotional intelligence, and critical thinking with the understanding that these are essential in the future world of Industrial Revolution 4.
