Taukir Ahmed is a Lecturer in Civil Engineering with an interest in undergraduate teaching, practical engineering education, and research. He is committed to helping students develop a strong foundation in civil engineering principles and understand their practical applications in real-world engineering projects.
His teaching interests include structural engineering, transportation engineering, environmental engineering, geotechnical engineering, fluid mechanics, and construction-related subjects. He emphasizes connecting theoretical knowledge with practical applications to enhance students’ technical skills, analytical abilities, and problem-solving capabilities.
In addition to teaching, he is interested in undergraduate research, sustainable infrastructure development, and addressing real-world civil engineering challenges in Bangladesh. He aims to contribute to quality engineering education, student development, and research that supports safer, more sustainable, and efficient infrastructure.
