Biography

Md. Mehedi Hasan Bappy is a Lecturer and the Acting Head of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at CCN University of Science and Technology in Cumilla, Bangladesh, where he manages academic schedules, delivers lectures, and supervises student research. He earned his B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Jashore University of Science and Technology in 2019 and is pursuing his M.Sc. at Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology, focusing his research on PCF-SPR sensors, integrated photonics, machine learning device optimization, computational electromagnetics, and semiconductor optoelectronics. A recipient of the competitive Ankur Academic Grant from Ankur International, USA, Bappy has published extensively in reputable international peer-reviewed journals—such as Physica Scripta, RSC Advances, and the Journal of Physics and Chemistry of Solids—on topics ranging from optical biosensors to high-performance perovskite solar cells. Beyond his research and administrative duties, he serves as the moderator for both the CCN-UST EEE Club and the Volunteer Service Club, actively contributing to student development, technical workshops, and institutional quality assurance initiatives.
